Deckweaver: Descent into Chaos is a first person, action, rouge-like game. Players fight off endless waves of enemies using spell cards that they start with or find in chests placed around the map. Each map has three shrine locations that the player must activate. After surviving the large wave at each shrine, the level will be completed and they will be teleported to the next area. Difficulty increases over time so players are encouraged not to take too much time in each stage.
These are the white boxes I made for the first stage of the game. At the start of the game, the player will spawn in one of these maps and then progress to a different stage two area. Since the maps act as variations of each other, they take place in the same sort of environment and will share many assets with each other. Both areas are designed with three special locations where a shrine is located. These areas are more fleshed out and act as proper arenas for the players and enemies to fight in. Chests can be found the arenas and areas between so players are enticed to look around the whole map.
