This short prototype game features a man waking up on a strange train. The player helps guide him through the train reliving his memories as they go. Each part of the train represents a different decade from the mans life, starting from the 1950's. Once a puzzle/interaction is completed the player receives a key item; collecting all three in a carriage will move the player to the next part.
This prototype game was made in a two week period for a class in Unreal 5. I was one of two designers in a group of 5 for this game. I helped decide what short interactions would be included. Examples include putting a ripped photo back together, putting tires onto a car, loading a gun, or inserting a floppy disk into a computer. After deciding on the puzzles, I spent the rest of the time set dressing the train. I made sure that each small section would use items from the decade they represented, and created a blended material for the ground to more clearly split them up.
Most of the 3D assets used were taken from asset packs.
